Scoreboardsuite
"SCOREBOARD ELECTRONIC DISPLAY SYSTEM" is a suite consisting of several components, which together form a system to record and display results from curling games.
Devices such as monitors and tablets are held together in composite systems that are assigned to a rink. In a four-rink system, for example, four interconnected systems are defined with the following components: At least 4 monitors with a touchscreen, or 4 monitors without a touchscreen plus 4 controllers on a tablet.
All devices communicate with the broker, which forwards the data to the other devices connected in the same network.
The cockpit together with the CMS (Content Management System, i.e. a system for creating and managing websites) form a framework for drawing even more benefits from the "Scoreboard Suite".
In order to transfer results to the Rinkmaster, the "Rinkmaster Interface" must also be used.
The graphic below illustrates this. The graphic also shows that several monitors can be assigned in a network.
The suite consists of the following components:
Scoreboard TV
"Scoreboard TV" is primarily used to display the results on a TV monitor running Android TV. Different display formats can be used. In the following screen section, the team names are displayed above and below the row of points.

With a different format, the display of the individual points and the team name alternates.

Alternatively, two monitors can be used to display the results. The left screen is used to display team names and the right screen is used to display points and totals

Scoreboard control
The game results are entered in an Android app on tablets. A game can be started via the Rinkmaster, via the web cockpit or directly on the tablet.
After the start signal, the initial parameters (assignment of the stone colors and the hammer (right of the last stone)) are entered on the tablet.

Functions:
- Game modes: standard curling, doubles, skins game
- Start ad hoc games with 6,8,10 ends, with or without additional end
- Determining the initial parameters of color allocation and allocation hammer
- Enter the points per end (from 6 to 10 ends, with or without an additional end)
- Input parameters for null end in double to determine the hammer for the next end
- Handshake from the 6th end
Timekeeping
With the scoreboard suite you also have a system for timing during the games.
The time can be measured in two different modes.
- In single-clock mode, the time is measured uniformly for all games. The area of application is usually intended for "ringing off".
- In multiclock mode, three clocks are used. This mode is intended for games with thinking time or individual time measurement per rink.

Scoreboard CMS
"Scoreboard CMS" is a Joomla 4 based content management system. Client-specific websites can be designed there, which can be displayed on the monitors (Scoreboard TV). Defined websites can be displayed in the Scoreboard Cockpit.

Scoreboard Cockpit
Connections are configured in "Scoreboard Cockpit" Devices set up and games started/stopped.
The following picture shows the cockpit for the game master.
In addition, posters can be displayed on the monitors from the cockpit. Posters are websites that are created in the CMS (Content Management System), in our case Joomla 4.
Interface to "Rinkmaster"
The "Rinkmaster Interface" is one Service that simulates an electronic readout from the Meatleaf to the Rinkmaster. Start commands from the Rinkmaster are forwarded to the broker and results are returned.
In addition, a directory can be specified, which the service monitors and automatically transmits changes to Rinkmaster files to the cockpit.
